This week I'm reading about the Nineteenth Century Russian Intelligentsia. These men had such strong views on politics, society, religion, etc.

Here I am, reading about their political views, studying them for hours at a time. And it occurs to me that I have no real political views of my own. I spend so much time in the past, reading about what 'great men' thought about politics that I don't allow my own philosophies to develop.

I have become addicted to blogging. Why do we feel the need to record our life experiences and send them into cyber space for strangers to read about? I wonder if in some way we are trying to validate our existance. Hey, look at me! I matter! I have interesting and thought provoking things happen to me!

I mostly blog in LiveJournal, but I decided to activate my blogger account, too. One can never have too many places to blog.
